Ingredients:#

  • 1/2 cup steel cut oatmeal
    • Option 2: Rolled oats
    • Option 3: Quick-cooking oats (instant oatmeal)
  • 1/2 cup blueberries (frozen or fresh) or other berries (frozen or fresh: strawberries cut into small pieces, raspberries, frozen cranberries, etc.)
  • 1/2 cup plant-based milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1/4 tablespoon spice to taste: turmeric, cinnamon, carob, or chocolate

Instructions:#

  • Mix everything in a medium Mason jar (or a plastic container with a lid)
  • Re-mix and check that no solid deposit has formed at the bottom of the jar
  • Refrigerate overnight

In the morning, it’s ready to enjoy. You can optionally:

  • Add nuts for a great breakfast
  • Or also add banana or apple pieces

Note:#

  • Keeps easily for a week in the fridge
  • Conversion: 1 cup = approximately 250 ml
